About Us
The Africa Institute of Dortmund is an academic and research institution dedicated to the promotion of African knowledge, cultural heritage, and economic empowerment. Established in 2010 under the initiative of EXELL Afrika e.V., it was founded by African intellectuals, professionals, and leaders from the African diaspora in Germany, driven by the desire to create a structured platform for research, education, and cross-cultural exchange between Africa and Europe.
